This label was shot on my dining table during a hot August summer and it makes me dream of hedy conversations, fizz, revelry and laughter.
In my 20s and 30s, I’d always choose dessert over a cheese board. Now, in my 40s, I’ll try and keep space for both! And if there are figs to be had as part of that cheese board, I’m the one you’ll need to keep an eye on!
Figs with cheese and crackers, figs with parma ham, figs straight from the tree on a hot summer night. Our fig tree gives us plenty of its goodness year on year, we share these treats with friends and neighbours and when we could (and can soon) have friends and family over in the summer months, figs are always on the table.
